| FACTS about our 1 WIN Season in 2009 The Wildcats have now had eight seasons with only one win ... 2009-1988-1947-1942-1940-1937-1936-1929 Every team since 1948 has won at least 2 games, except the 1988 team (defeated South Charleston 20-17) and the 2009 team (defeated Lincoln County 46-22). The last season that Nitro went winless was 65 years ago in 1944 when they were 0-6-2. The only other winless seasons were in 1938 (0-7) 1935 (0-6-1) and 1934 (0-5). The 1935 team only scored 1 TD the entire season. They tied Sissonville 6-6 in their last game. |
