If Herbert Hoover's Huskies are anything, it is consistent. In
four games, they've had point totals of 16, 17, 14 and 17.
The latest came in a 17-0 win over Nitro at Hoover's field on
Friday night.
The victory evened Hoover's record at 2-2 and dropped Nitro's to
2-2.
It was also Hoover's third straight win over the Wildcats and
gave the Huskies an 11-7 lead in the series.
Joe Mullins ran 7 and 20 yards for his fourth and fifth
touchdowns of the season to pace Hoover. John Goldberg added a
33-yard field goal.
Hoover tries to go over the .500 mark at Scott of Madison next
Friday. Nitro will be home against 3-1 South Charleston.
