Moss watch: The word I get is that Notre Dame football Coach
Lou Holtz plans to be in the stands at Nitro when the Wildcats host
DuPont on Oct. 21. Holtz, of course, is interested in recruiting
DuPont's Randy Moss. And he also may enjoy watching Nitro lineman
Scott Riddle.
Moss says his top three college choices at this stage are Notre
Dame, Ohio State and Florida.
While Moss says he doesn't plan to stay in the state, WVU fans
are hoping he'll change his mind if the Mountaineers can land
quarterback Dan Kendra, Jr. Kendra, who is a high school senior in
Allentown, Pa., is considered to be among the top QB prospects in the
country.
Kendra's dad played football at WVU from 1974-77 and reportedly
would like to see his son in a Mountaineer uniform. But young
Kendra's fiancee plans to attend Penn State on a volleyball
scholarship. Hmmmm.
