Nitro 38, Scott 35

J.R. House threw for 426 yards, but it was his 20-yard TD run that
staved off the upset-minded Skyhawks and clinched Nitro's first
winning season since 1983.

Nitro, No. 8 in both the Charleston Daily Mail Poll and the SSAC
ratings, got huge games from Zack Collins and Robbie Sigman. Collins
rushed for 105 yards on 14 carries with three TDs, and he caught five

233 yards and a touchdown.

The Wildcats kept their lead in the MSAC Gold Division, improving to
6-1 overall and 5-0 in the league.

Scott fell to 1-6 overall and 0-5 in the MSAC Gold, but not before
Josh Pearson rushed for 144 yards and a TD. Fullback Jeremy Knapp
rushed for 77 yards, and Scottie Green added 84 yards and two TDs.
