Nitro QB headed to WVU Tech

Michael Scott, a quarterback who threw for 9,381 yards and 98 touchdowns in four seasons at Nitro High School, has decided to follow his prep coach to WVU Tech.

Scott Tinsley became the Golden Bears' head football coach last week.

Scott completed 64 percent of his passes at Nitro and was intercepted just 34 times in 858 throws. He also threw for 14 two-point conversions and ran for 12 touchdowns.
