MIDLAND 35, NITRO 6: The Cabell Midland defense held visiting Nitro to just over 100 total yards in a dominating performance from the Class AAA No. 9 ranked Knights (6-2).

Knights quarterback Tyler Bartley went 9-for-17 for 110 yards, while carrying the ball 13 times for 121 yards and two touchdowns.

Running back Brad Jenkins rushed for two touchdowns on 10 carries for 63 yards to lead all Midland backs.

Mark Chandler carried the ball 13 times for more than half the Wildcats' total yards with 54, including the lone Nitro score. The Wildcats are 1-6.
